Supreme 20th Anniversary Collection – Box Logo and Taxi Driver T-Shirts

Two decades of undeniable success greets Supreme as it celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2014. Rewind back to April, 1994, Supreme’s opening on Lafayette Street was seminal in many ways. Supreme has been pioneering in the ability to find intersections between skateboarding and elements of culture whether it be fashion, music or art. Along the way, it has also provided one of the greatest brand case studies through organic growth and careful management of growth and demand. To celebrate the 20th anniversary, the brand will release two iconic releases originally accompanying the store’s opening on April, 1994. They include the ever familiar Box Logo Tee and the Taxi Driver Tee. Both graphics will also be seen on skateboard decks. The collection drops on April 24 in New York, Los Angeles, London and online while Japan’s release will take place on the 26th.

Nothing better than seeing an iconic brand paying homage to themselves by re-releasing the products that got them to where they are now. With the white t-shirt with the classic Supreme box logo one of my all-time favourite designs, I am looking forward to getting my hands on it when it releases. 

WTAPS Spring/Summer 2013 Heraldy Tee – Summer Pickup

A little late on posting this released from WTAPS, but I just wanted to share one of the items I purchased while overseas this summer. My favourite of them all was this WTAPS Hearldry tee which features the brand’s classic logo printed on the back as well as the same logo printed on the front but in a much smaller size. The quality is absolutely fantastic and this has become an easy go-to piece when wearing a simply fit but yet want to add some flair.

A Bathing Ape General Tee

BAPE drops this new graphic tee, part of the brand’s latest seasonal range. The shirt features its BAPE General character in a white/black colorway. For those interested, it is now available through Cliff Edge.

I personally love this t-shirt. The Bape General has always been my favorite Bape icon. I bought an Ursus Bape t-shirt with the skull Bape General and I have been wearing it so much because it just looks so fresh. The logo looks real clean as well and the combination of the three logos turned out to be really nice. Too bad I am not in Japan for this release.

KISHIDAN x NEIGHBORHOOD 15th Anniversary T-shirt

Earlier this month, Japanese rockabilly band KISHIDAN was introduced as the guest musical act at NEIGHBORHOOD’s 15th anniversary. Putting on a high-energy performance with their trademark hair and dancing, the band has subsequently teamed up with NEIGHBORHOOD on a 15th anniversary t-shirt which will release on December 5th, 2009 at select NEIGHBORHOOD retailers.

Really beautifully designed t shirt. I love anything with designs on the back… Makes it complete as opposed to having only one print on the front.

Wood Wood x colette “Brickism” T-Shirt

The Brickism exhibition, a collaboration between Wood Wood, Lego and a series of contemporary artists opened a couple of weeks ago in Copenhagen. From September 7th it will be on display at colette in Paris and for the occasion Wood Wood and colette got together on the “Brickism” t-shirt. The tee features the colette double dot logo, made up of Lego stones.

Nice design, colette is one of my favorite stores in the world. BEEN THERE.

Original Fake x Colette Pocket T-Shirt

KAWS designed this limited edition Point Man pocket t-shirt to celebrate the first anniversary of the Original Fake corner at colette. This collaborative birthday tee is now available, exclusively at colette. Comes in three colors – white, black and heather grey.

VISVIM JUNGLE 1-POCKET TEE

In a fall/winter release from VISVIM, we see an a slight twist to the iconic pocket shirt with the JUNGLE 1-POCKET TEE. Featured in both long-sleeve and short-sleeve variations, the shirt’s design includes a slanted pocket in contrasting colors with a double button closure. Colors include black/blue, navy/red, white/yellow and white/green. Available now at select VISVIM retailers such as NOS.

WOW, first comes the shoes then the Insignia Tee then THIS??!! Incredible. The color combination is great too, nothing else to say.

VISVIM INSIGNIA T-Shirt

A simple military motif is at the root of the VISVIM INSIGNIA t-shirt. The three-level insignia design comes in red and blue and is printed directly over the pocket of the t-shirt. Available now at Hong Kong’s Anytime.

Simple and clean design, strong blue and red accent on a white background is great. Great to go along FOLEY GY-FOLK. Visvim is going hard on their collection too.

Billionaire Boys Club Heart & Mind T-Shirt & New Era 59FIFTY Fitted Cap

Billionaire Boys Club continue on with their Heart & Mind motif with two new releases incorporating the graphic which has quickly become a recent icon for the brand. A t-shirt featuring a green print on a yellow body is seen alongside a New Era 59FIFTY fitted cap. Both pieces will be unveiled this weekend on August 9th, 2009 at THE ICE CREAM STORE.

Iconic Heart & Mind logo from the BBC/Ice Cream brand has been put onto beanies and tees. With the new color I think it looks nicer than before. Green on yellow could never go wrong and the gold/yellow on top of the solid black looks fresh, clean and unique as always. BBC/Ice Cream is going to come on strong with their new Fall/Winter 2009 collection with the innovative Running Horses pattern and a more concentrated classy outlook instead of the well too known streetwear look. A Bathing Ape London Store T-Shirts

Following up on the news of their new London Store opening, A Bathing Ape unveil three t-shirt designs, set to release during the launch on July 18th. All three designs, four shirts in total, follow the usual Bape logo hit, with a special British flag making an appearance within the backdrop.

… Don’t have much comment on these, although the white one is pretty nice. But yet again, I hope Bape starts to do something new just like BBC/Ice Cream for the next season. I mean, Nigo is one half of the creators of BBC/Ice Cream so hopefully we will be seeing something new from Bape.
