Presented at visvim’s showroom for NYFW, the collection at large includes a wide range of shoes, outerwear and shirts under the aesthetic influence of “patina.” In keeping with the brand’s affiliation for traditional wear, expect to see lots of leather and denim goods, coupled with corduroy, herringbone and 100% cotton options.

I know I’ve been posting a lot of visvim lately but can you blame me? Its the brand along with A Bathing Ape that inspired me to start a blog to share these brands with the world and I don’t plan on stopping now. If you’re planning on saving up to purchase some new gear for next Fall/Winter season, well here’s a preview of the collection from visvim. The range of materials used as well as the contemporary take on classic country style is done to perfect. Browse through the images below for a detailed look.

visvim FBT OPPIAN JP

This week visvim has released a fantastic new version of its popular FBT. The visvim FBT OPPIAN JP comes with a premium UK cowhide suede upper and a Vibram outer sole. The hand-sewn upper features a hand woven ankle-wrap, using antique fabric. Priced at $630, the shoes are now available in overall four colorways.

I’m a huge fan of visvim and to no surprise, Hiroki Nakamura once again releases one of the best footwear silhouettes. Utilizing the FBT shape, a little addition of detail and material once again comes broth to another footwear classic.

visvim 2014 Spring/Summer FBT LHAMO-FOLK

For Spring/Summer 2014, visvim presents its FBT LHAMO-FOLK in some new colorways. Coming in black, dark brown, brown and beige, these FBT LHAMO-FOLKs feature premium UK cowhide suede uppers paired to Vibram soles. The hand-sewn uppers come without liners, making them relatively breathable and inside is a cork footbed for added moisture management and comfort.

Despite the sudden visvim craze, people who have been reading this blog since the beginning know that I’ve been posting about visvim since 2009. Anyhow, Hiroki Nakamura never ceases to amaze as he keeps releasing good product. Sticking to what he knows and utilizing his inspirations, it seems to me that every piece he delivers is almost flawless. With this FBT LHAMA-FOLK, personally one of my favourite silhouettes of the FBT moccasin, grabbing a pair of these would only be beneficial to your wardrobe.

Summer 2010 welcomes the latest FBT release from visvim, with four colorways in the brand’s hallmark silhouette. Featuring premium UK suede cowhide uppers, the contemporary-style moccasins are crafted by hand, boasting authentic bead detailing, insert molded midsole and outsoles, and a TPU heel stabilizer. Color options include black, dark brown, light brown, and sand, all available through special request from visvim.

This is my favorite design from visvim. The fusion moccasin is like none other and is that separates visvim from the other brands. They keep things simple but come out with different designs which is really impressive. Look out for these.

visvim FBT LHAMO-FOLK *F.I.L. EXCLUSIVE

Among visvim’s first releases under their FOLK umbrella of goods, the Japanese brand re-releases the FBT LHAMO-FOLK this week. An initial preview features a black suede colorway with the same familiar beaded motif over the toebox. Check your local visvim dealer for availability.

YES! visvim comes out with another dope sneaker release. The FBT is my favorite model, the sneaker/moccasin fusion never gets old. The elk leather is always in good shape and provides good quality. Also, being able to replace the sole at will creates an authentic and personal feel between the consumer and the brand.

SOPHNET. x visvim Ballistic Homer Tote L

SOPHNET. and visvim come together in a new seasonal collaboration based on visvim’s Homer Tote. Featured in a ballistic nylon material, the large-sized tote features a leather strap and bottom. It will release on July 17th only at SOPHNET. and ISETAN locations.

I like this bag. Navy blue has always been one of my favorite clothing/item colors. Easy to match and it looks great. It isn’t as dark as black but it has its own flare and personality that it easy to go along with. Matching this tote with the dark blue SOPHNET. X Dickies 874 Painted Chino Pants (rolled up) along with a pair of fragment design X Nike All Court Lows and finish it off with a visvim BELCHER WELD Shirt. Now that is what I called a fresh outfit.

visvim Kiefer-Hi Mayan Suede – A Detailed Look

One of our favorite recent visvim releases is the Kiefer-Hi Mayan Suede, which combines butter soft suede uppers with some nice embroidery details around the ankle and the heel. The mid top sneaker comes in several colorways and is now available from visvim.tv.

These shoes remind of Pharrell’s belt. These provide an intermediate between modern fashion (Chuck Taylor’s) as well as Amerindian art and culture that they have established so long ago.  With a good combination of colors and reversible upper on the shoe, visvim never ceases to impress and are always on the verge of releasing aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-wear items.

visvim x mastermind JAPAN Backpack & Waist Pack


Continuing its partnership, visvim teams up with mastermind JAPAN yet again, this time working up two new versions of the classic ballistic backpack and waist pack. Both are offered in a tonal black colorway with the backpack boasting Horween Elk Leather paneling and the waist pack featuring Horween leather as well. Retail is set at ¥48,300 (Approx. $542 USD) and ¥36,750 (Approx. $413 USD) respectively.

I want the backpack so much. This is so dope! Hefty price tag though.

mastermind JAPAN x visvim Zip Skagway


A second collaboration for the Winter season between both visvim and mastermind JAPAN comes to light. This time both work together on a special make up of the Skagway high top. The shoes feature a classic Chuck Taylor cut with side zipper and black & white colorway. Stay tuned for a closer look in the coming weeks.

Oh my god… These are fresh to deahth. Going to cost you $$$$$$ but its all good, they’re worth it.
